What Is This Event?

We’re inviting all our neighbors and friends to try fasting (avoiding eating and drinking from sunrise til sunset) for a day, and then join us to break fast at sunset together. Whether you fast or not, we’d be honored to host you for a free dinner at our community center in Santa Clara. Enjoy an enlightening evening of conversation and connection

What Will Happen During The Event?

You’ll arrive. You’ll meet some new people. You’ll share a table with new friends. You’ll hear a short presentation to get context for the experience, followed by open conversation and dinner together. No prior knowledge needed. Just come curious and hungry!

Who Is This For?

  • If you enjoy meeting people outside your usual circle
  • If you like meaningful conversations over surface level small talk
  • If you appreciate cultural experiences that are truly informative
  • If you’re open to try something a little out of your usual routine
