Quran Teachers at Cordoba Academy

We are looking for passionate and dedicated Quran Teachers to join our team and contribute to the spiritual growth and education of our students. As a Quran Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing a deep understanding and appreciation for the Quran among students of all ages, from preschoolers to adults. You will guide students in learning to recite the Quran with proper Tajweed, assist in memorizing Surahs, and help foster a positive relationship with the Quran and Islamic teachings. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and faith-centered environment while sharing your expertise and love for the Quran.  As a Quran Teacher, you will:

• Teach students how to read the Quran with proper Tajweed.
• Assist students in memorizing Surahs.
• Develop a positive and respectful relationship with students within Islamic guidelines.
• Evaluate each student’s progress and provide feedback.
• Track and document individual progress.
• Teach students of all ages, from preschoolers to adults.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Makharij and Tajweed, with the ability to teach effectively.
• A sincere desire to help all students succeed in their Quranic studies.
• Strong commitment to consistent attendance and time management.

Schedule:

• In-person: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM.
• Online: Hours will vary based on parents’ requests, including weekdays and weekends.

Compensation:
Pay will be determined by Br. Asim based on experience.
