The Art of Tatreez: Palestinian Embroidery

Join us for a meaningful and creative afternoon exploring Tatreez, the traditional Palestinian art of embroidery that is rich in symbolism, identity, and resistance. This beginner-friendly workshop will be led by Janeen Asfour and offers a hands-on opportunity to learn the historical and cultural significance behind Tatreez patterns and colors.

During the workshop, participants will stitch their own Tatreez keychain, pin, or magnet—a keepsake that honors Palestinian heritage and artistic resilience. All materials will be provided.
